A change to the LMS login experience begins March 19th

On March 19th, we will introduce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to our Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance security. This change aligns with the protocols in our Training Managment System (TMS), which will support a smooth transition.

Important

  • All students and instructors must have a valid, accessible email linked to their LMS accounts.

  • Instructors and students unable to meet this requirement will face login issues once MFA is implemented.

Action Needed

Please ensure the email addresses for all LMS student and instructor accounts are current and correct in the TMS roster. This is crucial for a hassle-free switch to MFA.

Takeaways:

  1. Ensure student and instructor LMS account emails are valid and accessible by the user.

  2. Post-March 19th, login will involve an email verification code.

We will share additional information in the coming weeks.
