Application Deadline:
Application must be approved by the Board before taking the examination. After approval, materials will be provided for direct registration with the testing service. Any questions, you may call 808-586-3000. Application is also available on the DCCA Professional & Vocational Licensing Division website.

Examination:
Examinations are through PSI Services LLC and Prometric is no longer a provider. Disregard any information about Prometric on the license application (DCCA needs to update).
Exams are offered on Oahu and the neighbor islands of Maui, Kauai, and Hawaii County. For more information regarding exam dates and times, see the PSI Services LLC website or call (833) 333-4754. You will be required to create a PSI Services account. Carefully read PSI disclaimer as some services may not apply to the State of Hawaii. Currently, the practice test is not available for the State of Hawaii.
